News Flash
John Shipley, son of Mike shipley who owns and runs North Yorkshire Shooting School but looks after in dads absance is celebrating his success at
High Lodge Shooting Ground.

Held over four days with over 1500 competitors it attracted shooters from all over the UK and Europe.

John shot magnificently to gain the second highest score in his class. There were two shooters who tied for first place. Both just one target above Johns.
The targets were very hard with devious use of speed and angle but this is to be expected at such a prestige event.

Not to be outdone by his senior and good friend, NYSS sponsored junior shooter Mike Burnand ( Little Mick) won the side event of super sporting on the Saturday and was the top junior on Sunday.

An exceptional achievement by NYSS shooters.
